Handwoven Wool & Organic Cotton Fabric | Bürümcük Weave
Description
Handwoven Wool & Organic Cotton Fabric
This distinctive handwoven fabric is made from 60% sheep wool and 40% organic cotton, woven using traditional weaving techniques in Anatolia. Its soft, fluid structure and open, transparent texture give the fabric a unique natural character.
Traditional Bürümcük Weave
This fabric is a traditional Turkish textile known as Bürümcük Dokuma. The weft uses yarn-dyed sheep wool and cotton blend yarn, while the warp is made from specially twisted undyed organic cotton yarn. The combination creates a distinctive textured surface and lightweight, flowing drape.
Because it is produced using traditional weaving methods, subtle variations in texture and structure are part of the character of this textile.
Natural Fibers & Versatile Use
Made with natural wool and organic cotton, this breathable handwoven fabric is suitable for a variety of creative applications. Its fluid drape makes it particularly suitable for resort wear, fashion, slow fashion, garments, accessories and lightweight decorative projects.
