What is kutnu?

Kutnu is a silk-and-cotton weave closely associated with Gaziantep in southeastern Türkiye, where it has been produced since around the 16th century. It was valued by the Ottoman court for its sheen and durability, and its striped and moiré finishes make it a distinctive choice for interiors and fashion.

Uses

Cushions and pillow covers, headboards, ottomans and pouf upholstery, jackets and waistcoats, kimonos, ties, bags and clutches.

Care

Dry clean only. Water will remove the moiré effect.
