Unbleached Natural Ivory Textured Linen Cotton Fabric by the Yard – Handwoven, Fine or Open Weave, 115 cm
Description
A rare handwoven linen and cotton fabric in its purest form: neither dyed nor bleached, so both the weft and the warp keep the natural ivory color of the fibers. Designed exclusively for special collections and inspired by the rushing movement of a waterfall, its deep, three-dimensional texture comes from a process few weavers still follow: we twist the yarn ourselves, and only once it has been twisted is it ready for the loom.
Choose your weave
Fine Weave (small pores): a finer twisted yarn with small open pores – light, semi-sheer and softly draping, about 100 g/m².
Open Weave (large pores): a thicker twisted yarn with larger open pores – a bolder, more sculptural texture with more body, about 120 g/m².
How it is made
Twisted by us: the yarn is twisted in our own workshop before it ever reaches the loom – a rare step that creates the fabric's sculptural, cascading surface.
Woven with traditional techniques: our looms produce no more than about 70 meters a week.
Undyed, unbleached and free of chemical softeners: after weaving, the fabric is simply home-washed and generously steamed. Its softness comes from the linen and cotton themselves, leaving a natural, breathable fabric that only gets softer with time.
